Born
in a modest family in the serene hills of Uttarakhand, Sohit
Uniyal's
journey is nothing short of inspiring. Deeply rooted in his humble beginnings,
he started his creative path as a theatre artist in 2002, honing his passion
amid the mountains before pursuing a Management degree from IMS Dehradun. His
father, R.P Uniyal, retired as an officer from Uttarakhand Police, this
connection later helped him spotlight Himachal Police band “The Harmony of the
Pines” on national television.
After
his MBA, Sohit joined Reliance Communications, but a pivotal referral shifted
his trajectory and he entered the entertainment world of Mumbai as Business
Manager for a renowned Production house, this work stint helped him build
essential skills in production and Pan India talent handling.
Entrepreneurial

In
2012, Sohit started focusing on scouting & promoting untapped talent for TV
Reality shows, channeling his expertise and roots into pan-India opportunities.
This venture marked his entrepreneurial role, leveraging his growing expertise
in Pan India Talent Scouting, Ground Auditions across leading Broadcasters
& Networks.
In
2016, he joined Frames Production Company Pvt Ltd, where he skyrocketed to
prominence, overseeing casting for blockbuster reality franchises that
redefined Indian television. His strategic vision turned raw potential into
national stars.
After
Frames, he recently did casting for shows like Hustle (MTV / Jio Hotstar),
MasterChef India Jodi (Sony Tv) and I-Popstar (Amazon MX Player).
