Cyclists join from C-Scheme, Mansarovar, Vaishali Nagar, Malviya Nagar and Vidhyadhar Nagar as Jaipur celebrates AU Jaipur Cyclothon.

Jaipur: The grand AU Jaipur Cyclothon 2026 witnessed an overwhelming response as thousands of cyclists, fitness enthusiasts, students, corporate professionals and citizens participated in one of Jaipur's largest cycling initiatives, celebrating fitness, sustainability and community spirit. The event marked the culmination of a week-long campaign dedicated to promoting cycling culture, environmental conservation and healthy lifestyles.

Organised by Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha, Jaipur Runners Club and Indian Institute of Event Management and Research (IIEMR) with the support of AU Small Finance Bank and Eternal Hospital, the cyclothon brought together participants from diverse age groups and backgrounds, all united by the common message of healthier living and sustainable mobility.

The event was hosted from various locations across the city, i.e. Mahaveer Public School, C-Scheme, AU Small Finance Bank branches at Mansarovar, Vaishali Nagar, Malviya Nagar and Vidhyadhar Nagar. The participation from different corners of Jaipur reflected the growing popularity of cycling as a fitness activity and an environmentally sustainable mode of transport.

Shashi Kiran, Event Director and Shri Mukesh Mishra, Managing Director, IIEMR along with several distinguished guests, cyclists and fitness enthusiasts.

Shri Shailendra Sharma, Commissioner of Income Tax said the enthusiastic participation witnessed across Jaipur reflects the growing awareness among citizens towards healthy lifestyles and sustainable living. He further emphasized that cycling can play a vital role in reducing pollution, improving public health and creating greener cities.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Jyoti Satija, IG, RPF said that AU Jaipur Cyclothon has emerged as a people's movement that seamlessly connects fitness, environmental conservation and social responsibility. 

Shri Mukesh Mishra, Managing Director, IIEMR, said that the AU Jaipur Cyclothon 2026 campaign successfully connected thousands of citizens with the causes of health, sustainability and community engagement. He highlighted that the week-long initiative featured a World Bicycle Day Talk Show on Sustainable Mobility, a Mega Plantation Drive on World Environment Day, a BIB Expo and Cycling Awards Ceremony, culminating in the grand cyclothon. He thanked all participants, partners, volunteers and supporters for making the campaign a resounding success.

During the event, participants pledged to adopt active lifestyles, promote cycling culture, support environmental conservation and encourage responsible road usage. The cyclothon also served as a platform to raise awareness about reducing carbon emissions through greater adoption of non-motorised and sustainable modes of transport.

The organisers informed that the campaign witnessed enthusiastic participation from educational institutions, corporate organisations, cycling groups, resident welfare associations and community organisations, making it one of the most impactful cycling campaigns in the region.

The organisers expressed gratitude to AU Small Finance Bank, Eternal Hospital, NAV India, Cityvibes, ARL participating institutions, volunteers, cyclists and citizens for their support in making the event a grand success.

The programme concluded with a collective commitment to continue promoting cycling culture, healthy lifestyles and environmental sustainability, reinforcing Jaipur's emergence as a city committed to fitness, green mobility and community well-being.
