New Delhi/Hyderabad : Parsha Sri Kella,
a Kuwait-born, UK-based actress, filmmaker, producer, model, and Artificial
Intelligence graduate of Indian origin, is making waves on the international
stage and is now looking to expand her journey into the Indian entertainment
industry.
Raised in the United
Kingdom by Hyderabad-based parents, Parsha has successfully blended creativity
with technology. She holds a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Computer Science
(Artificial Intelligence) from the University of Hertfordshire and is currently
gaining industry experience as an AI intern while pursuing her passion for
filmmaking and acting.
Adding another
milestone to her growing list of achievements, Parsha Sri Kella recently became
the first-ever Miss Icon UK,
earning the opportunity to represent the United Kingdom at the upcoming Miss
Icon International Finals in Indonesia, where contestants from across the
world will compete on a global platform celebrating confidence, talent,
leadership, and cultural diversity.
Beyond pageantry, Parsha Sri Kella has demonstrated her versatility by directing,
producing, and starring in the independent feature film "No Way
Out." According to her team, the film has received recognition at
multiple international film festivals, marking an important step in her
filmmaking career.
Believing that
storytelling extends far beyond acting, Parsha chose to create her own
opportunities by independently developing No Way Out rather than waiting
for the right role. She believes understanding writing, direction, production,
and performance enables artists to tell more authentic and meaningful stories.
"Cinema has always
been my passion. Acting allows me to bring different characters to life, while
directing and producing help me create stories that audiences can emotionally
connect with. My dream is to build films that transcend cultures and entertain
people across the world," said Parsha.
Growing up between
Indian values and British culture has given Parsha a distinctive creative
perspective that combines Western filmmaking techniques with the emotional
depth of Indian cinema. Inspired by filmmakers including S. S. Rajamouli,
Rajkumar Hirani, Karan Johar, Gauri Shinde, Farah Khan, Boyapati Srinu, Sam
Raimi, and James Wan, she hopes to contribute to Bollywood, Telugu
cinema, and international productions.
"My Indian
heritage has always been a defining part of my identity. I look forward to
collaborating with filmmakers and storytellers in India and creating films that
resonate with audiences globally," she
added.
With achievements
spanning technology, filmmaking, modelling, and pageantry, Parsha Sri Kella
represents a new generation of global Indian talent bringing international
experience and fresh creative perspectives to the evolving Indian entertainment
industry.
